Vitamin K2[MK-7] is an essential fat-soluble vitamin that is required for the carboxylation of osteocalcin, which transports calcium from your arteries to your bone where it can work to increase bone mineral density (BMD). Because of this, vitamin K2[MK-7] also supports heart and blood vessel health* and exerts a more powerful influence on bone health than vitamin K1.*
Calton Nutrition’s liquid Vitamin K2[MK-7] for adults and children makes supplementation simple. Our liquid Vitamin K2[MK-7] can be taken alone, or with your nutreince PM multivitamin (do not take with your nutreince AM multivitamin as vitamin K competes with vitamin D, which is in the AM dose).
Additionally, while most vitamin K2[MK-7] products come in a base of medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin that requires long chain triglycerides (LCT) for proper absorption, that is why our Calton Nutrition vitamin K2[MK-7] is delivered in a base of both MCTs and organic LCTs to ensure proper absorption of your vitamin K2[MK-7].
Calton Nutrition vitamin K2[MK-7] supplies 120 mcg of vitamin K2[MK-7] per 1/4 ml (10 drops). No tolerable upper intake level (UL) has been established for vitamin K2. Research shows that more than 350 mcg daily can be safely used.* We suggest taking 120 – 240 mcg per day while following our Rebuild Your Bones 12-Week Osteoporosis Protocol.
